Banbury Chestnuts Bowling Club is a self sufficient bowling club and one of the oldest in the UK having been established in 1780. The membership play outdoor bowls in the Oxfordshire League and friendly games along with single, pairs, triples and fours in club, County and National competitions.
We have Men’s, Ladies and mixed friendly matches both home and away, with a licenced bar on site . Bowls is considered both a sport and social activity, as you can meet a considerable number of different players in a single season.
